It seems every year my cable is in a funk when Shark Week rolls around. Or I forget. So why the fixation on sharks? It’s all over my Facebook news feed.

Fun fact - I once swam next to sharks during a trip to the Dominican Republic. OK, a chain link fence kept them caged and kept me safe. But we were very, very close!
